Châu Á tiếp tục là thị trường xuất khẩu lớn nhất của gạo xuất khẩu Việt Nam trong 10 ngày đầu tháng 4, chiếm khoảng 81% tổng xuất khẩu gạo của Việt Nam. Châu Phi là thị trường lớn thứ hai, tiêu thụ khoảng 10.616 tấn xuất khẩu gạo (tương đương khoảng 9,75%).
Việt Nam cũng xuất khẩu 5.834 tấn gạo sang châu Âu, khoảng 2.279 tấn gạo sang châu Mỹ, khoảng 1.296 tấn gạo đến Australia và khoảng 828 tấn gạo sang Trung Đông trong thời gian này.
